Tonight’s view from the office…
We had the amazing opportunity to record a truly once in a lifetime performance of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra with Anne-Sophie Mutter, pianist Yefim Bronfman, cellist Pablo Ferrández, and conductor Susanna Mälkki performing the Beethoven Triple Concerto. The performance was unlike any I have ever heard before. It was transcendent. The second movement literally made the hair on the back of our necks stand up.
…and that was only the warm-up. In the second half, Ms. Mutter was joined by legendary conductor and composer John Williams for a special program featuring arrangements of his compositions created specifically for her.
It was a magical evening we captured for commercial release for both audio and video.
Many thanks to uber-producer Bernhard Guettler and executive producer Bernhard Fleischer for involving Soundmirror, Inc.,
