Blanton and Mark just wrapped a terrific week of live recording with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, capturing the world premiere of Rhiannon Giddens and Michael Abels’ Omar Suite, and Wynton Marsalis‘s epic Swing Symphony, where the orchestra was joined on stage by the incredible Paradise Theatre Big Band.
