Blanton and Dirk just wrapped an incredible few days in Bismarck with Jason Thoms and the wonderful Dakota Pro Musica, recording Esther, the Beautiful Queen by William B. Bradbury (composed in 1856).
What a joy to bring this rarely heard work to life with such committed musicians. Beautiful singing, rich ensemble sound, and true collaboration at every step.
