Blanton and Mark had a terrific time in the historic Power Station Studio A last week, recording new music by composer Navdeep Singh Galen with an amazing group of New York-based musicians.
Founded in 1977, the list of people who have recorded at the Power Station at Berklee NYC is staggering: Bruce Springsteen, David Bowie, Madonna, Paul Simon, Lady Gaga, Paul McCartney, Bob Dylan, Sting, The Rolling Stones, the original Broadway cast of Hamilton, and the list goes on.
Working in a space with so much history, you could practically feel the legacy in the walls, and it inspired everyone to bring their very best to each take.
