Last week, on the 50th anniversary of Shostakovich’s passing, Mark and Dirk joined Music Director Manfred Honeck, Associate Conductor Moon Doh, and the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra to record a stirring performance of Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 10, as well as the world premiere of Frozen Dreams by Lera Auerbach.
And of course, no trip to Pittsburgh would be complete without another one of Mrs. Weaver’s legendary coffee cakes (thank you Mrs. Weaver!).
